Responsibilities
Work alongside development engineers to test software releases of a new product
This includes driving passenger vehicles for real world testing and documenting results
Works in Autonomy Connectivity/Systems Engineering
Works with software, remote-control (RC), machine electronics, and V&V teams
Coordinates with suppliers and field test teams
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience
Bachelor's in EE, CE, CS
Networking & connectivity design (LTE/5G, routing, bonded cellular)
Systems integration & troubleshooting
Test strategy and execution for embedded/edge systems
IP networking fundamentals
LTE/5G and/or bonded cellular experience
Linux config/debug
Wireshark, iperf, tcpdump, etc
Test plan creation/execution
Requirements tools (Jama/Doors)
Preferred
V2X or remote-control system experience
Python/Bash automation
Embedded gateways (Cradlepoint/Peplink/Sierra/etc.)
Network redundancy/failover
RF/antenna basics
Safety-critical or autonomy exposure
