Responsibilities
Lead projects from design through installation, ensuring that control logic, mechanical systems, and robotics work in perfect synchronization
Integration and troubleshooting of multi-axis robotic arms and high-performance motion control systems
Manage the field installation of mechanical systems, ensuring hardware and software are perfectly aligned for peak performance
Serve as the primary technical point of contact, providing on-site solutions that account for both electrical and mechanical system variables
Qualification
Required
5+ years of 'boots on the ground' experience in PLC programming and on-site system commissioning including mechanical troubleshooting
Deep familiarity with the Rockwell ecosystem, Ignition SCADA, and industrial robotics (Fanuc, Yaskawa, Dobot, or similar)
You understand gear ratios, torque requirements, and mechanical assembly
You can 'speak the language' of programmer, machine operator and the millwright
You operate best without daily supervision
You are self-motivated, disciplined, and possess the critical thinking skills to pivot when site conditions change
Significant overnight travel (up to 25-50% depending on project phase)
Comfortable troubleshooting on a live factory floor and managing the realities of mechanical installation, customer expectations and tight timelines
Must possess a 'field-first' mentality
