They are currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform inspection, testing, and quality assurance checks on precast and drycast products in a manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities
Pre-pour inspection checks as required
Post-pour inspection checks as required
Monitor production operations as required
Daily wet concrete tests for production pours
Assist with monthly aggregate gradation testing as necessary
Assist with daily concrete compression tests – wet cast and dry cast operations
Reporting and documentation on non-conforming product to supervisor and upper Management
Other laboratory or inspection-related duties as deemed necessary by QC Manager
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year of previous experience in Construction or Manufacturing Industry as inspector or general laborer
Strong history of work site attendance compliance
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings
Understanding of basic geometry
Ability to use a variety of computer programs including MS Office Products or similar spreadsheet programs
Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Excellent organization and communication skills
Self-motivated and strong ability to take initiative
Conflict management and resolution skillset
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Preferred
ACI Field Testing Certification Level 1 – Highly desired or ability to obtain in 3 mo
GDOT Inspections Certifications (QPL-9 or QPL-4) – Highly desired or ability to obtain in 3 mo
