Responsibilities

Driving profitable sales for the C&I business in the assigned territory
Developing, implementing, and executing effective territory business plans
Prioritizing your end customers, markets, and distributors to drive effective territory management
Implementing promotions, and directives as set by division management
Collaborating across other C&I territories and within other 3M EMD Divisions to meet customer needs

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND three (3) years direct sales and/or electrical construction/industrial experience in a private, public, government or military environment
OR Associate's degree (completed and verified prior to start) and five (5) years of electrical industry sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Current, valid driver's license

Preferred

Sales experience in the Electric Contractor Market
Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
Aptitude to understand and train customers on multiple product lines and applications
Experience selling through distribution
Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels
Ability to qualify and prioritize sales opportunities within assigned territory
Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization
Strong computer skills, Database management: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce.com
Strong oral, written and presentation skills
Strong team player, ability to work effectively with peers
