Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Director of Advancement to plan, develop, execute and evaluate comprehensive fundraising strategies for individual, corporate and foundation funders
Design an annual strategic donor stewardship plan that helps supporters connect more deeply to the Cultural Trail's impact and vision?
Develop compelling donor communications, including two annual appeal campaigns, impact reports, and thank-you correspondence that drive annual giving
Support grant research, writing, and reporting in partnership with the Director of Advancement
Enhance the digital fundraising experience and strategy, including optimizing our online giving platform, expanding our monthly donor program, and exploring new opportunities for digital revenue growth and engagement?
Work with the Director of Advancement to develop, plan, and execute fundraising event strategies including the signature annual Trailblazers Dinner
Maintain donor databases and own the gift acknowledgement process to ensure accurate, timely acknowledgment of gifts
Collaborate with our broader horticulture, programming, communications, and Pacers Bikeshare staff on strategic initiatives and community partnerships
Represent the Cultural Trail at community events and networking opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
3-5+ years of frontline fundraising, donor relations, or related experience (nonprofit or relevant transferable experience)
Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with fundraising constituents such as major donors, foundations, and corporations
Demonstrated project management, organization, delegation, and prioritization skills
Experience with CRM/donor databases (we use Little Green Light, and will train on our system)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Advanced degree, fundraising certification and ongoing professional development and training is a plus
Familiarity with Indianapolis and its philanthropic landscape is a plus
Ability to ride a bike is a plus
