Responsibilities
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and/or media workplace
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations
Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, issue temporary credentials as directed, and document entries, exits, and deliveries per site procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and/or public services as needed and providing clear direction to occupants
Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and maintenance or hazard concerns, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
