Associate Finance Project Accountant

The Associate Finance Project Accountant will support the finance team in various tasks including revenue recognition, reporting, and client invoicing, while fostering a collaborative and communicative work environment.

Responsibilities
Ability to work collegiately, but also on own initiative, and in a largely remote but still highly communicative and supportive environment
Support both the Senior FPA’s and FPA’s who oversee all fee-based revenue
Support the completion of various reporting to improve business efficiency, eventually highlighting observations to senior finance team members
Be on hand to assist staff across the business with Paprika and process/policy queries
Able to communicate with client services to troubleshoot day-to-day issues such as budgeting and job administration
Assist with the preparation of month end reporting packs which focus on revenue recognition and WIP management
Help ensure all financial transactions recorded are compliant with financial policies and procedures, highlighting any breaches to senior team
Some of the daily tasks include:
Raising of sales invoices to clients and ensuring timely receipt of payment
Completion of job related actions such as:
Time transfers
Internal billing movements
Updating estimates
Monitoring of shared FPA email inbox
Weekly updates of the VP finance reporting packs
Support on a number of ad-hoc projects from across the FPA function
Qualification
Required
One year's relevant experience
Proficiency in MS Office
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Efficient time management and organizational skills
Proactive and flexible approach, a problem solver, adaptable to and an advocate of new systems
Part qualified from a relevant professional body and looking to complete their studies in due course
Ability to work collegiately, but also on own initiative, and in a largely remote but still highly communicative and supportive environment
