Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses
Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and provide early warnings on cost overruns
Support preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and change orders
Work closely with Project Managers, Planners, and Finance teams to provide financial insights
Prepare and present regular cost performance reports to management and stakeholders
Review and validate invoices, purchase orders, and contracts for cost coding and budget compliance
Maintain cost control systems and ensure data integrity within SAP, EcoSys, and Power BI
Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Qualification
Required
Strong cost management and cost control background
Demonstrated experience with SAP (must be able to clearly articulate daily usage)
Experience using EcoSys for cost control and forecasting (or similar systems with ability to be trained)
Proficiency in Power BI for reporting and analysis
Experience with capital projects
Oil & Gas industry experience
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to clearly explain system usage and cost workflows
Preferred
Experience with major EPC firms or Oil & Gas operators
Owner's cost experience, including end-to-end cost object controlling and product cost planning
Integration experience with logistics modules for profitability analysis
Professional certifications such as AACE CCP, PMP, or similar
Familiarity with project planning and scheduling processes
