Responsibilities
Author high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria and comprehensive documentation
Participate in the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of features, including mitigating impediments, performing user acceptance testing (UAT), and tracking progress against sprint or increment goals
Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Platforms, Engineering, Technology, and Business stakeholders—to understand capability dependencies, identify gaps, and support future enhancements
Manage platform-related projects and programs and troubleshoot data-related issues to ensure successful delivery
Communicate regularly with platform users regarding announcements, compliance updates, user maintenance, and usage guidelines
Define, monitor, and track platform health indicators such as KPIs, SLIs, and SLAs
Review and support data flows into and out of the platform to ensure standardization and oversight
Implement and manage data and platform controls to ensure compliance with organizational standards
Measure and report on platform metrics, including usage levels, data ingestion, efficiency, and performance
Analyze data and operational processes to identify improvements and propose creative, scalable solutions
Apply foundational data skills (Python, Hive, SQL, UNIX) to support data exploration and troubleshooting
Leverage understanding of big data, data warehousing, business intelligence, and distributed platforms such as Hadoop
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, or a related hybrid role in technology
Experience managing projects and programs across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, processes, and systems for continuous improvement
Experience with big data environments, data pipelines, data warehousing, or business intelligence technologies
Working knowledge of platforms such as Hadoop or other big data ecosystems
Experience with SAFe Agile frameworks and collaboration tools (e.g., Rally Software, Atlassian Suite, Slack)
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to take independent ownership of projects and deliver results with minimal supervision
