Responsibilities

Monitors contractors to ensure safe performance; Creates incident reports and performs safety audits to ensure conformity in all areas of HSE
Conducts job site safety orientation for contractors
Interacts with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret standards, codes and regulations
Keeps informed of regulatory requirements and auditing standards
Prepares weekly and monthly reports for metrics; Assists in development and implementation of systems and standards to facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics

Required

Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of a degree
Experience in health and safety within an industrial construction environment
Experience with fall protection, hand safety, LOTO, safety barricades, confined space entry, and other safety protocol
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must have the ability to work in a team environment
