Category Manager / Sourcing Manager
Linear Solutions Inc. is a rapidly scaling supplier to electrical distributors in the conduit and raceway market. They are hiring a Category Manager / Sourcing Manager to take ownership of key product lines and supplier relationships, driving growth through smarter sourcing and stronger pricing strategies.
Responsibilities
Build and manage key vendor relationships (domestic + international)
Lead pricing negotiations, rebate structures, and vendor performance reviews
Drive accountability on lead times, fill rates, packaging, compliance, and quality
Establish scorecards, cadence, and measurable improvement plans
Develop category plans: product roadmap, pricing position, inventory approach
Evaluate new product lines, suppliers, alternates, and private label opportunities
Maintain a competitive understanding of the market landscape
Track commodity inputs (steel, copper, zinc, freight) and translate to pricing action
Partner with sales leadership to stay aggressive while protecting margin
Build tools and processes to prevent 'pricing drift' and protect profitability
Improve forecasting and inventory health across key SKUs
Recommend min/max strategies and stocking programs for strategic accounts
Balance availability with turns and working capital discipline
Work directly with leadership, supply chain, inside sales, accounting, and operations
Support major account initiatives with the right product plan + supplier strategy
Help bring structure and clarity to decision-making across the organization
Qualification
Required

ERP environments (Fishbowl, NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics, etc.)
Strong Excel / analytics / margin & pricing analysis
Worked with electrical distributors, conduit/raceway, or heavy freight products
