Senior Accountant
Tiens is a U.S. publicly traded company with global operations, seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role is critical for U.S. financial reporting, SEC compliance, and SOX internal controls, while also supporting accounting matters related to capital markets activities and digital assets.

Responsibilities
Lead the preparation, review, and timely filing of SEC reports in full compliance with U.S. regulations
Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and MD&A
Manage SOX compliance, including ICFR design, implementation, testing, and coordination with external auditors
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Support accounting and reporting matters related to capital markets transactions, equity investments, and financial instruments
Participate in accounting treatment and controls related to digital assets and emerging financial instruments, where applicable
Act as primary point of contact with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits
Develop and maintain accounting SOPs to enhance efficiency, consistency, and compliance
Analyze financial performance, identify trends and risks, and provide insights to support executive decision-making
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
Support cross-border accounting activities, including FX and intercompany reconciliations
Stay current on updates to U.S. GAAP, SEC, SOX, and other relevant regulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Active US CPA license
10+ years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior role supporting U.S. public companies or IPO/post-IPO environments
Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance
Experience supporting capital markets activities, investment structures, or publicly traded entities
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with internal controls and process improvement initiatives
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
Preferred
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Exposure to digital assets, fintech, or emerging financial products
Familiarity with U.S. corporate tax, FCPA, and data privacy regulations (CCPA/GDPR)
