This role involves collaborating with Business Data Stewards to ensure data quality and alignment across multiple business units.

Responsibilities
Drive adoption of Data Governance procedures across business units
Partner with Business Data Stewards to ensure alignment with governance standards
Build and maintain a normalized Enterprise Business Glossary
Develop and maintain enterprise-level business data taxonomy
Guide stewards in establishing data quality monitoring projects
Track and coordinate remediation of enterprise-level data quality issues
Manage the repository of critical data assets and elements
Collaborate with Data Platform and Engineering teams to mature Data Governance tools and capabilities
Develop and maintain governance processes, standards, and best practices
Work closely with internal stakeholders to support a successful governance program

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Business Management required; Master's preferred
12+ years of experience in Data Governance and Data Management
5+ years of Data Stewardship experience, preferably within a banking or financial institution
Experience creating and maintaining governance processes, standards, and best practices
Proven success collaborating with internal stakeholders to run a governance program
Strong experience with Data Governance/Management platforms (Ataccama strongly preferred)
Technical understanding that supports effective collaboration with data engineering/platform teams
