Responsibilities
Perform professional engineering and scientific work involving chemical processes utilized by industries and scientific technologies to produce products and systems
Apply advanced chemical engineering skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge
Develop innovative solutions to complex problems, work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members
Qualification
Required
12+ years of experience as a chemical engineer in the design, construction, and startup of new chemical processes
Knowledge of process plant development and construction such as a polymer, manufacturing, or chemical synthesis plant environment
Ability to work as a member of a cross-functional engineering team
Ability to mentor less experienced chemical engineers
Ability to work in an industrial setting
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
Preferred
Experience with facilities design such as chemical process plant design
Experience with U.S. government construction standards
Experience with energetic systems
Knowledge of construction, manufacturing plants, or process plant design
Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
