Responsibilities

Administer and support Windows-based environments (Servers, Endpoints, Active Directory, Azure AD)
Manage and support Microsoft 365 tenants (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, user management)
Perform on-site client visits (field tech work required)
Handle Tier 2 escalations and troubleshooting with guidance from senior engineers
Assist with backups, disaster recovery, patching, and system monitoring
Configure and maintain security tools (AV, EDR, MFA, RMM)
Support onboarding/offboarding of users and devices
Maintain accurate documentation of systems and procedures
Participate in planned after-hours maintenance when required
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients on-site and remotely

Required

This role is NOT for entry-level or first-job IT candidates
3+ years of hands-on experience in MSP environments, systems administration, or advanced helpdesk roles
Strong working knowledge of Windows Server & Active Directory
Microsoft 365 administration
Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls)
Comfortable with a hybrid role that includes frequent on-site travel
Valid driver's license and ability to commute to client locations
Strong troubleshooting skills and ownership mindset
Comfortable working flexible schedules typical of MSP environments

Preferred

Prior MSP experience
Exposure to Azure or hybrid environments
Familiarity with RMM / PSA tools
Basic PowerShell or automation
Interest in cybersecurity and best practices
