Responsibilities
Manage Akamai and F5, including Onboardings, and WAF rules
Troubleshoot Akamai and F5 -related issues, analyzing logs and traffic patterns to identify root causes
Advise technology teams and management of identified risks and treatment options with reporting and status management
Ensure compliance with security standards by configuring SSL/TLS, bot mitigation, and DDoS protection
Audit execution and risk analysis; audit coordination and delivery
Participate in on-call rotation over weekend
Qualification
Required
Very experienced and highly skilled in Akamai CDN
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Deliver monthly metrics and coordinate internal and external audits in partnership with Control Owners and external Auditing firms
Manage Akamai and F5, including Onboardings, and WAF rules
Troubleshoot Akamai and F5-related issues, analyzing logs and traffic patterns to identify root causes
Advise technology teams and management of identified risks and treatment options with reporting and status management
Ensure compliance with security standards by configuring SSL/TLS, bot mitigation, and DDoS protection
Audit execution and risk analysis; audit coordination and delivery
Participate in on-call rotation over the weekend
Familiarity with CDN integrations and Application Programming Interface (API) security Frameworks
Proven experience with Akamai and F5 WAF solutions, including CDN, WAF, and performance optimization tools
Experience in integrating websites and implementing CDN technologies (performance, security, reliability, scalability)
Experience on Splunk, or other SIEM (security information and event management) Monitoring
Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, DNS, and web architecture
Strong proficiency in CDN configuration and administration and understanding of core networking concepts
Experience monitoring Akamai services for performance and availability using Akamai Control Center and other monitoring tools
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Akamai configurations and performance
Preferred
Understanding of Post Quantum Cryptography, SSL/TLS
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
Skilled in crafting professional documentation
Comprehensive knowledge of auditing practices
Scripting or Automation Experience
