Responsibilities
Own and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001
Ensure ongoing compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement across raw material and excipient manufacturing processes
Act as the primary audit host, leading and facilitating internal, supplier, and external audits
Manage auditors on site and drive corrective and preventive actions through to closure
Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and site leadership to resolve non-conformances and support regulatory compliance
Maintain certifications and promote a strong quality culture
Qualification
Required
Quality Assurance leadership experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
Experience owning or directly supporting a Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as an operating system
Working knowledge of GMP standards relevant to chemical and excipient manufacturing
Exposure to frameworks such as EXCiPACT, FSSC 22000, or BRCGS
Experience leading and facilitating internal and external audits
Ability to manage audit findings and drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
Experience maintaining compliance across multiple regulatory and customer-driven requirements
Comfortable working in a plant setting and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
Detail-oriented with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Credibility and practical experience running quality systems in a chemical manufacturing environment
