Responsibilities

Full lifecycle product design (from concept through certification and post-launch support)
Heavy focus on aircraft seating systems, structural restraints, and airbag systems
A mix of mechanical, electromechanical, and potentially hydraulic components
Strong emphasis on certification testing, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration (QA, manufacturing, procurement, etc.)

Qualification

SolidWorksMechanical DesignAerospace EngineeringIndustry RegulationsMicrosoft Office 365

Required

Degree: BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Tools: Proficient in SolidWorks (or similar CAD) and Microsoft Office 365
Experience: Over 9 months of hands-on mechanical design and product development
Skills: Be familiar with industry regulations and standards (FAA, EASA, AS9100)
