Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Looker dashboards, reports, and visualizations aligned with business requirements
Write and optimize LookML models for efficient data querying and visualization
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data integrity and performance across Looker environments
Implement best practices for dashboard design, including usability, accessibility, and performance optimization
Work closely with business analysts and product owners to translate requirements into scalable solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Looker data models and dashboards
Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in LookML dashboard development and visualization best practices
Ability to write complex SQL queries and optimize for performance
Understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts
Familiarity with GCP or other cloud environments
Knowledge of Python or similar for automation and integration
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
3-6 years in BI/Visualization development for Intermediate Role
6 years with proven expertise in Looker and data visualization for Senior Role
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field
Preferred
Experience with BI tools beyond Looker, e.g., Tableau, Power BI
Exposure to ETL processes and data pipelines
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CICD practices
