Software Engineer
Synchro is a fast-growing player in the autonomous mobility and robotics space, and they are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to strengthen their Localization and Mapping group. This role will focus on designing and improving localization algorithms and cloud-based mapping solutions to enhance accuracy and reliability in robotics and autonomous systems.

Responsibilities
Develop and enhance cloud mapping pipelines with graph optimization
Build and refine multi-sensor fusion systems, integrating LiDAR, GNSS, IMU, and other sources
Partner with other engineering and operations teams to resolve challenges related to localization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related discipline
3+ years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in Python or C++
Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
Preferred
Background in robotics with knowledge of calibration, localization methods, EKF, and point cloud algorithms
Solid mathematics foundation (probability theory, optimization, mechanics) and the ability to turn mathematical models into practical algorithms
A passion for staying ahead of the latest research and applying new ideas to keep systems state-of-the-art
