Responsibilities
Deliver software to enable new customer initiatives and own the balance between time to launch, ability to pivot, and ability to scale. Seek and utilize knowledge of the Lime engineering ecosystem to find the right solution, or design what's needed
Learn from our customers by shipping software and understanding the market environment
Collaborate with coworkers in Product, Design, Data, and Operations. Ensure solutions interoperate well with Lime's full stack of services. The team’s work will span cloud-based backend services, web-based tools, mobile clients, and third-party applications
Mentor individuals at Lime and participate in learning, growth, and improvement activities
Participate in the shaping of Lime's Engineering culture
Qualification
Required
7+ years of industry professional software development experience, and a track record of building impactful products or systems

Owner's mindset: you're focused on outcomes and can solve problems to get there
Data driven: You instrument your work for decision making, you can reason through data to learn from our customers
Excellent communication skills and effective management of competing priorities
Preferred
Experience shipping Ruby on Rails backend and/or React-based web frontend applications
Brings a learning mindset to the use of software development tools including AI
You're enthusiastic about Lime's mission and micromobility; you want to see cities transform to becoming people-centric and less polluted
