Business Development Director
PayComplete is seeking a Business Development Director to drive revenue growth and market expansion for its cash management solutions in the U.S. The role involves leading business development initiatives, building key partnerships, and aligning commercial strategy with company objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive U.S. business development strategy aligned to PayComplete’s global objectives
Identify and prioritize key market opportunities, segment growth strategies, and expansion into adjacent verticals (e.g., retail, transit, banking, cash centers)
Drive strategic initiatives to accelerate revenue, win key enterprise accounts, and expand PayComplete’s market share in the U.S
Lead the end-to-end sales process for high-value opportunities including pipeline generation, forecasting, negotiation, and deal closure
Establish sales performance metrics and maintain a robust sales pipeline with clear forecasting and reporting
Collaborate with the General Manager Americas and the wider Global Sales Team to align U.S. sales tactics with PayComplete’s product and service roadmap
Build and nurture strategic partnerships with systems integrators, channel partners, and OEMs that accelerate growth and enhance solution delivery
Negotiate partnership agreements, co-selling frameworks, and revenue share models where appropriate
Partner with Product, Marketing, Professional Services, and Solutions Engineering to tailor offerings to U.S. customer demands and competitive dynamics
Influence product roadmap priorities based on customer feedback and competitive insights
Serve as an executive sponsor for key accounts and support large deal negotiations
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs in the U.S. transactional technology landscape
Deliver insight-driven recommendations to executive leadership that shape commercial strategy
Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, accountability, and customer focus
Any other reasonable request made by the Line Manager or ELT
Qualification
Required
10+ years of business development and enterprise sales leadership in B2B technology (preferably SaaS, IoT, fintech, payments, automation, or related sectors)
Demonstrated track record of scaling revenue in the U.S. market - with measurable success in new customer acquisition and strategic account growth
Experience leading cross-functional teams and executing complex sales cycles with C-level stakeholders
Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and financial literacy
Exceptional relationship builder, negotiator, and communicator
Proven ability to drive outcomes in fast-paced, European/global hybrid organizations
In-depth understanding of U.S. payments landscape, cash management or adjacent industries a strong advantage
