Responsibilities
Manage employees and first level managers performing activities related to supplier program management throughout all contract phases
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
Interfaces directly with engine companies to resolve engine issues in the Boeing Production value stream
Engage with the Boeing Engineering, Contracts, Propulsion & Program organizations to resolve delivery issues
Represents the Engine Management organization at the delivery center and in the factory
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in managing or leading people or teams
5+ years of experience in managing and leading teams, as well as influencing within matrixed organizations
5+ years of experience in supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
3+ years of experience leading or managing projects, teams, vendors in a factory/manufacturing environment
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree
5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
5+ years of experience leading or managing process improvement projects
