Responsibilities
Provide engineering support to QC, analytical, and development laboratories
Support installation, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and lifecycle management of laboratory equipment
Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate calibration, maintenance, and vendor service
Author and maintain technical documentation (URS, SOPs, change control, protocols)
Ensure compliance with cGMP, data integrity (ALCOA+), and safety requirements
Support CSV/CSA activities for computerized lab systems (LIMS, CDS)
Support laboratory utilities (gases, HVAC, power, temperature, humidity)
Participate in deviations, root cause analysis, CAPAs, and audits/inspections
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
4+ years of experience supporting pharmaceutical or biotech laboratories
Hands-on experience with lab equipment qualification and calibration
Strong knowledge of cGMP and regulated environments
Familiarity with analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, dissolution, TOC, endotoxin)
Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with CSV/CSA and laboratory systems (Empower, LabWare, LIMS preferred)
