Responsibilities
Support daily and weekly fund accounting operations for assigned clients, including monitoring and recording daily cash activity
Review fund notices and investigate discrepancies or missing information; coordinate with General Partners (GPs) as needed
Escalate significant cash flow items to Client Directors and Client Managers
Manage Limited Partner (LP) activity, including reconciling capital calls, following up on missing payments, and supporting distributions
Prepare LP distribution wires for approval, track confirmations, and respond to follow-ups
Prepare cash entries, journal entries, investment confirmations, and investor reporting templates
Support LP requests in accordance with client-specific procedures and maintain accurate investor contact information
Assist Senior Fund Accountants with financial statements, capital activity, quarterly reporting, and rolling audit files
Support audit and tax processes, including audit confirmations, open-item tracking, auditor communications, and K-1 aggregation
Assist with onboarding new funds, entering client data, and responding to compliance and regulatory requests (e.g., FATCA, Form PF, AUM, Form ADV)
Coordinate daily cash coverage during vacations or extended absences and communicate status updates on reports and projects
Contribute to special projects, process improvements, policy development, and training or mentoring of junior staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
2 - 4 years of accounting or general ledger experience (Great transition for public accountants)
Tax accounting: 2 years (Required)
Auditing: 2 years (Required)
