Empowered Network is recognized as an innovator by Health & Human Services, providing support to survivors of trafficking. The Survivor Advocate will work with survivors to develop empowerment plans focusing on financial independence, housing, employment, and education.

Responsibilities

Provides solution-focused counsel to survivors progressing towards independence
Documents therapeutic activity through weekly sessions, interview findings, clinical and social progress charts, and recommendations
Creates fund requests surrounding housing, education, and employment needs
Measures outcomes, ensuring programmatic impact and expectations are met
Performs administrative and general office work as required, including preparing reports and correspondence, attending staff meetings, etc

Qualification

Licensed MSWLCSWTrauma survivorsProficient with technologyCommunication skillsTime management skillsTraumaCounseling skillsTreatment knowledgeCurrent trends in interventions

Required

Licensed MSW or LCSW clinician or lived experience expert with field-related bachelor's degree and working knowledge of trauma, prognosis, counseling, and treatment
Must live in the state of Washington and have experience working with trauma survivors
Strong communication and time management skills needed to be an engaged remote worker on a national team
Proficient with technology
Up to date on current trends in the field of interventions for survivors of human trafficking
