The role involves ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the casting process while maintaining high-quality product standards and adhering to safety regulations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate casting equipment and machinery to produce high quality products according to specifications
Monitor and control the casting process to ensure optimal production output and minimize downtime
Conduct regular inspections of casting equipment and machinery, identifying and resolving any issues or malfunctions
Adjust and calibrate equipment settings to achieve desired product specifications
Collaborate with the production team to plan and prioritize casting schedules
Perform routine maintenance tasks on casting equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and any quality issues

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality products
Ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery in a safe manner
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and ability to effectively follow instructions
Must pass company background check and drug screen

Preferred

Previous experience in a similar role within the casting industry is highly preferred
