Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking a Blockchain Tester for a contract role with a client. The position involves performing functional testing of blockchain transactions and validating smart contracts to ensure data integrity and security across distributed ledger systems.

Responsibilities

Perform functional testing of blockchain transactions, ledgers, events, and consensus flows to ensure data integrity and immutability
Test and validate smart contracts through unit, functional, and boundary testing using frameworks such as Truffle, Hardhat, Ganache, or Foundry
Design, build, and execute automated test scripts for blockchain workflows, APIs, and UI integrations using Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Web3.js, and scripting languages
Conduct non‑functional testing, including performance, load, and stress testing, to validate transaction throughput, latency, and network stability
Execute security testing to identify vulnerabilities such as reentrancy, overflow/underflow, front‑running, and access‑control issues using tools like MythX and Slither
Validate wallet operations, digital signatures, cryptographic flows, and API integrations between blockchain nodes and external systems
Create detailed test documentation, report defects with reproducible steps, and collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product owners in Agile environments

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
6–10 years of experience in QA/testing, with hands‑on exposure to blockchain or distributed systems testing
Strong experience in functional, automation, performance, and security testing of blockchain platforms and smart contracts using tools such as Truffle, Hardhat, Web3.js, Postman, and Selenium
Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, consensus mechanisms, cryptography, API integrations, and CI/CD pipelines, with the ability to collaborate effectively in Agile environments
