Responsibilities

Perform senior level work in the assembly, installation, maintenance and repair of solid state electronic traffic control equipment including ITS field hardware, communication system, and other related electrical traffic management and control equipment
Exercise judgment, complete difficult and complex traffic signal repair work, and function with independence in the performance of such work

Required

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in Electronics, or a related field
Three years of appropriate experience including two years in assisting with traffic signal maintenance and repair work
An Associate's Degree from an accredited College or University in Electronics
Five years of appropriate experience including at least four years of experience with traffic signal maintenance and repair work
A combination of college level education, training or experience in electronics or electrical systems equivalent to seven years of appropriate experience including at least four years assisting with traffic signal maintenance and repair work
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must possess International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) certification as a Traffic Signal Technician – Level II and/or Traffic Signal Electrician–Level II certification
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in Electronics or a related field
One year in assisting with traffic signal maintenance and repair work
Associate's Degree from an accredited College or University in Electronics
Three years of appropriate experience including at least two years assisting with traffic signal maintenance and repair work
Combination of college level education, training or experience in electronics or electrical systems equivalent to five years appropriate experience with at least two years assisting with traffic signal maintenance and repair work
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must obtain International Municipal Signal Association (ISMA) certification as a Traffic Signal Technician – Level I and/or Traffic Signal Electrician – Level I certification
