Responsibilities

Conduct an in-person greeting, welcome and orientation to the unit for newly admitted and transferred patients
Respond to patient call lights and make rounds
Assist with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges
Assist patients and families with wayfinding and direct them to available resources
Assemble and maintain patient medical records and other documents related to patient care
Assist with unit clerical functions and in trouble-shooting equipment failures, such as call system, portable phones, WOWs and other unit devices

Qualification

Customer service experienceTyping skillsComputer trainingMicrosoft OfficeCommunication skills

Required

High School Diploma or GED
1 year of experience in a customer service-related role
Experience with typing, computer training or equivalent coursework

Preferred

College degree
Microsoft Office experience
