Data Warehouse ETL Analyst - ITS4
Minnesota IT Services is the information technology agency for the State of Minnesota, seeking a Data Warehouse ETL Analyst to join their Human and Social Digital Services team. The role involves the analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of ETL processes for various data systems within a relational data warehouse environment.

Responsibilities
Provide advanced professional knowledge and skills in the analysis, design, development, implementation and support of the programs and jobs used in the extraction, conversion, loading, and maintenance of PRISM and MAXIS/MEC2 (in a primary capacity) and some MMIS (in a backup capacity), and other source system data within the data warehouse relational environment
Provide additional support of other HSDS applications relating specifically to ETL responsibilities as needed
Qualification
Required
Position requires a minimum of four (4) years of IT related experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL Scripting
Advanced hands on experience with Microsoft SSIS development
Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures, performance tuning, and complex queries
Experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Blob Storage, or Synapse
Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a manner that facilitates mutual understanding
Customer-focused approach grounded in active listening, empathy, and solution-oriented problem-solving to deliver positive user experiences
Education in Information Technology (IT) or an IT related field may substitute for experience as follows: a master's degree for eighteen (18) months of experience; a bachelor's degree for one (1) year; and an associate's degree for six (6) months
Preferred
3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS development
Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines or CI/CD automation
Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools
Exposure to Python, C#, or other scripting languages
Experience with on-prem to cloud migration projects
Experience with Informatica
