Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and AI agents using Java and/or Python
Build and optimize Generative AI applications, including:
Prompt engineering
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Agentic workflows (multi-agent orchestration, tool usage, memory management)
Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) to standardize AI interactions with external tools, databases, and services
Integrate LLMs with enterprise data systems to enable scalable and secure AI solutions
Work with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) for semantic search and context retrieval
Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to translate AI roadmap goals into technical deliverables
Qualification
Required
Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python
Solid understanding of Generative AI concepts, including: Prompt design and optimization, RAG pipelines and document chunking strategies, Agentic workflows (e.g., LangChain agents, tool calling)
Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar platforms
Familiarity with open-source models like LLaMA, Mistral, or equivalents
Hands-on experience implementing MCP for scalable and standardized AI-to-tool integrations
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong experience with Java and/or Python
Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
Expertise in MCP (Model Context Protocol) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Preferred
Experience with Gen AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack
Exposure to embedding models, tokenization, and context window optimization
Understanding of MCP architecture, including clients, servers, and host applications
Prior experience in AI/ML, NLP, or conversational AI projects
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and observability tools
Experience integrating LLMs with internal enterprise systems and APIs
