Responsibilities
Reviewing and analyzing securities-based lending applications
Assessing risks
Making credit decisions in line with the bank’s policies and risk tolerance
Preparing detailed financial analysis
Engaging with internal teams to gather necessary information
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and procedural guidelines
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to recommend solutions
Providing high-quality client service
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of securities-based lending structures, credit analysis, and financial statement interpretation
Ability to evaluate and assess risk, make sound credit decisions, and work within established policies and guidelines
Proficiency in tools and systems related to financial analysis and underwriting
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams
Comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management practices
Detail orientation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; relevant certifications are an asset
Prior experience in securities-based lending, credit underwriting, or a related financial services area is required
