This role involves safely moving materials, parts, and finished goods using forklifts and other material handling equipment while adhering to established SOPs and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility
Utilize conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks as needed
Transport raw materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods safely and efficiently
Maintain basic records and documentation related to material movement
Follow clearly defined SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards
Perform routine tasks using prescribed steps and procedures
Work effectively in a metrics-driven environment
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualification
Required
Previous forklift experience
High school diploma or GED
Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses or certifications
Basic computer skills
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Ability to perform basic math calculations
Effective verbal communication skills
Ability to lift and/or move 50+ lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and reaching
Repetitive use of hands and wrists for handling materials and equipment
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, and airborne particles
Occasional work at heights or in precarious areas
Hot summers (no A/C) and cold winters (limited heat)
Moderate to loud noise levels
Steel-toe shoes
Preferred
0–1 year of warehouse, manufacturing, or related experience
