Responsibilities
Maintain and grow existing business while actively developing new opportunities
Execute sales strategies aligned with the BU business plan and customer targets
Drive customer acquisition and expand market share within key accounts
Support long‑term planning by contributing to 5‑year customer and regional sales plans
Partner with technical and market leaders to shape product development needs
Define and implement short‑ and mid‑term commercial activities aligned with BU goals
Build strong relationships across all key customer functions
Provide accurate and timely sales reporting: forecasts, visit reports, call notes, distributor meeting minutes
Manage claims and coordinate resolution effectively with internal teams
Track competitor activity and recommend strategic responses
Manage distributors and agents, ensuring they deliver on annual targets
Contribute to pricing strategies and supply–demand planning
Support supply allocation, safety stock planning, and contingency measures
Maintain accurate customer forecasts and support supply chain efficiency
Qualification
Required
Proven experience generating new business and closing deals in a technical sector
Strong knowledge of chemistry and additives
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
6+ years' experience in the chemical industry, ideally in CASE / Coatings
Experience leading customer projects and managing distributor relationships
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strong structural, analytical, and organizational abilities
Comfortable working in an international, collaborative, feedback‑driven environment
