Responsibilities
Welds metal parts together using MIG, TIG, and RESISTANCE welding or brazing and any combination of welding processes
Interprets engineering drawings to determine Weld Layout, Critical to Quality Characteristics (CTQ), and overall specifications required to produce quality product
Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding
Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts
Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding
Qualification
Required
Must have MIG experience, TIG is a plus
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
