Responsibilities
Provide and ensure customer-focused activities, deliverables and services
Manage daily activities resulting in continuous efficiency and process improvements
Perform fabrication work such as grinding, chipping and finishing
Operate machinery and tools in an efficient and safe manner
Maintain daily inspection log and daily piece counts
Comply with all safety requirements and use all applicable personal protective equipment (PPE)
Clean work area daily and perform preventative maintenance and equipment checks
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
High school diploma or GED required
Welder I – one (1) to three (3) years welding experience
Ability to obtain Welding certificate within initial ninety (90) days of employment is required
Must be able to become certified to operate forklift vehicle and overhead crane
A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
Must be able to safely flip I-beam
Ability to safely lift & carry 100lbs on an occasional basis
