Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for the smooth and accurate flow of products throughout the facility
You'll move materials to their correct locations, restock shelves, and help maintain an organized facility
Safely operate a forklift and other equipment to load, unload, and move materials, ensuring efficient handling of all products
Prepare finished goods for shipment by organizing them in staging areas, completing necessary paperwork, shrink-wrapping pallets, and loading trailers
Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse by performing general housekeeping tasks and upholding 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain)
Support our inventory management by pulling Kanban cards as needed and placing them in designated areas to ensure materials are replenished on time
Verify incoming materials and quantities, receive raw materials and finished goods into our system, and place them in their proper locations
Work as part of a cohesive team, exchange information with co-workers, and even help train others
You'll also have the opportunity to work independently and make decisions
Qualification
Required
Experience with forklift operation
Computer data entry
General material handling (moving, counting, and identifying products)
Keen eye for detail
Strong counting and picking skills
Basic understanding of computer systems
Comfortable with the physical demands of a warehouse environment, including standing for long periods, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 70 pounds
Ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions, including safety protocols
Flexible team player who can work a variety of jobs and is willing to work overtime when needed
Preferred
A high school diploma or GED
