Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain test systems for electrical and control subsystems
Build and implement automated test solutions for embedded hardware
Collaborate with design, systems, firmware, and manufacturing teams
Analyze test data to identify issues and drive root cause investigations
Implement corrective actions based on test data analysis
Support new product introduction by creating scalable test strategies
Maintain and update documentation for test equipment, processes, and protocols
Mentor junior engineers and technicians while improving test practices and tools
Qualification
Required
Experience developing Software test architecture
5+ years of experience
C++, Python, Linux
5-7+ years of relatable experience in test engineering
Proficiency in firmware, electrical engineering, and test engineering
Experience with C++ and Python
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience developing automation software to test hardware at various levels
Understanding of embedded systems communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, EtherCAT)
Experienced in designing and deploying test fixtures from a software and hardware standpoint
Hands-on experience with end-to-end data flow architecture
Preferred
Experience with ECAD tools, preferably Altium
Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES), test result databases, and statistical process control (SPC)
Exposure to safety-critical product development and regulatory compliance standards
Background in robotics or highly integrated mechatronic systems
Experience in database architecture and integration
