Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance the reliability, availability, and performance of Linux-based services within a high-load environment
Orchestrate and support a complex hybrid ecosystem spanning on-premise data centers, AWS, and GCP
Participate in follow-the-sun shifts to resolve complex production incidents, ensuring the strict 99.999% SLA is upheld
Partner closely with Engineering and Architecture teams to bake reliability into the SDLC and production lifecycle
Drive capacity planning initiatives and lead cloud infrastructure cost-optimization projects to balance performance with fiscal efficiency
Qualification
Required
Deep proficiency in Linux environments, including TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, and DNS management
Proven expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) and AWS cloud services
Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for automated provisioning and configuration
Expert-level investigative skills within UNIX-based operating systems
Ability to develop internal tools and automate workflows using Python, Golang, or Shell scripting
Strong collaborative skills with English proficiency at an Intermediate (B1/B2) level or higher
Preferred
Familiarity with monitoring and logging ecosystems (e.g., Zabbix, ELK Stack, Grafana)
Experience troubleshooting Java-based applications in a production setting
Exposure to high-throughput systems like Apache Kafka, Nginx, and various SQL/NoSQL databases
