They are seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to support short-term business goals, create strategic financial plans, and provide financial reports while working collaboratively with a core finance team.

Responsibilities
Conducts financial analysis, research, forecasting to support short-term business goals & decisions
Participates in creating the strategic financial plans, annual plans & quarterly forecasts
Ensures communication of risks and opportunities for sales, EBIT and cash
Completes journals, reconciliations and month-end/quarter-end close
Supports preparation of financial reports: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows ensuring accuracy
Provides reports to functional/operations management on financial analysis results and provides recommendations
Advises on operations finance activities, such as engineering, sales and supply chain
Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports on findings to make budgeting and cost recommendations to management
Perform research on fixed assets including depreciation and CapEx planning
Spot problems and perform real-time resolution by deciding on correct course of action
Work closely with business unit, operations, finance leads on consistent methodology of reporting cost savings
Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office and the ability to learn other reporting tools
Provides cover in the absence of the Finance Lead
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR
In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder
Strong technical knowledge of finance, accounting and forecasting
Excellent analytical skills with a well-rounded understanding of program finance and financial planning
Ability to multi-task while prioritizing routine tasks with emerging issues and concerns
Customer support while meeting challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working with a cross-functional team and presenting to multiple levels of leadership
Dedicated to continued process improvements and building efficiencies into all financial aspects of the organization
Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office and the ability to learn other reporting tools

Prior FP&A experience
SAP knowledge
Excellent Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
