Responsibilities

Cover corporate restructuring, distressed-debt investing and chapter 11 bankruptcy cases
Collaborate closely with colleagues to uncover proprietary stories on distressed companies, their investors and their legal and financial advisers
Turn around market-moving scoops on tight deadlines
Write data-centered analysis and insightful features
Contribute to Pro Bankruptcy's flagship daily newsletter and multimedia content
Be a collegial team player who is comfortable collaborating as well as doing solo work

Qualification

Required

At least 3-5 years of journalism experience
A nose for news that your competitors are missing
The ability to explain complex concepts in clear and engaging ways

Preferred

A strong background in restructuring and bankruptcy
A solid knowledge of corporate finance and business generally
Ideally, experience covering corporate finance, restructuring or a related field
