The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a skilled and organized Clerical Assistant 3 to join the Department of Corrections, Field Human Resource Office 11. This role involves processing time and payroll actions for multiple bargaining units, ensuring accuracy in pay processing and performing various clerical duties.

Responsibilities
Serve as a centralized timekeeper responsible for processing time and payroll actions in a regional human resource office that provides services to State Correctional Institutions (SCI)
Investigate and resolve pay discrepancies
Verify and correct time entries
Input payroll schedule substitutions
Code overtime
Perform a variety of clerical duties such as filing, typing, tracking data, answering phone calls and emails, as well as inputting data into various computer systems
Qualification
Required
One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
