Responsibilities
Perform complex administrative and professional work by planning, implementing, directing, and reviewing programs, activities and operations within the Kanawha County child welfare units of CPS and Youth Services
Planning, policy development, direction, coordination, and administration of the operation of multiple units within CPS and Youth Services
Acts as a liaison within Bureau for Social Services with the state and federal partners to facilitate problem resolution of complex matters
Collaborate with community partners, outside agencies, and service providers to assist in services provided to clients
Employee is subject to being on-call during non-business hours and must be available with access to a telephone
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Six (6) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in a human services related area (such as case work, social work, counseling, child services, and or adult services)
Applicants must possess a valid WV driver's license, and reliable transportation
Applicants also must have strong communication skills, both oral and written, and maintain detailed records and extensive documentation
Successful completion of a background check is required for employment
