Responsibilities
Ensure the availability of production parts while minimizing inventory carrying costs and exposure
Interact with colleagues in production to proactively solve stock issues and improve material processes
Support on-time delivery and inventory reduction through the implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) tools to drive continuous process improvements in on-time delivery, cost savings, and inventory reduction
Proactively provide supply status, resolve availability issues, and provide tracking information to internal customers
Work with Accounting and Receiving to resolve any discrepancies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field or relevant experience
Experience working with Excel and software such as ERP/MRP, SAP or Oracle etc
Ability to effectively interface with all levels and departments of the organization
Strong communication and negotiation skills working with vendors
Preferred
Experience in procurement and/or production planning in a manufacturing environment
Experience working in a manufacturing environment and communicating with production operations
Lean, Six Sigma, Toyota Production System, and/or DBS tools
