Responsibilities
Serve as an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN) in the Information Systems Division in the Office of the Director of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence (C5I) Systems
Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and applications
Document and update all systems security operations and maintenance activities and assess the effectiveness of security controls
Manage and maintain systems and servers, resources, and configurations
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty hardware and software
Manage complex, long term projects to include performing technical studies, simulations, and preparing technical specifications
Qualification
Required
Experience implementing or maintaining cyber security policies, procedures, and/or controls of C5I systems and applications
Experience participating, coordinating, and/or leading a project team to implement software programs and procure information systems
Experience managing or assisting with the management and maintenance of operating systems and servers
Experience conducting functional testing on systems or servers
Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations
Oral Communication - Expresses information effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance Level with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access
Must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter
Must obtain and maintain requirements for certain Cyber work roles
