Durango School District 9-R is accepting applications for a Long Term Substitute Wood, Tech, and Maker Space Teacher at Miller Middle School for the Spring Semester of the 25/26 school year. This position will begin approximately March 1, 2026 and run through the end of the school year, May 26, 2026.

Education Management

Responsibilities

Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license. A 3- or 5-year Colorado substitute authorization may also accepted for a candidate with demonstrated Math proficiency as outlined above
Experience working with students in a classroom setting strongly preferred
Strong interpersonal communication, basic language, basic math, and basic writing skills
Minimum of two professional or academic references; family/friends are not categorized as professional or academic references

Required
