Responsibilities
Manage the full project lifecycle from concept design through construction completion and close-out
Coordinate with design team on the development of structural drawings and specifications
Coordinate with contractors as well as conduct site visits and site meetings
Assist with foundation and superstructure trade procurement including the development of trade specific scopes of works, bid forms, leveling sheets, etc
Provide engineering, code and technical oversight during structural peer reviews
Review RFI & submittals, coordinating the flow of information from trade contractors to design professionals
Assist with budget control and schedule oversight
Support the review of contractor change orders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in structural design and/or construction management
Knowledge of OSHA 30 and Procore
Ability to work well with all individuals including stakeholders, trades, unions, vendors, tenants and senior management personnel
A mature professional with excellent judgment and intuitive interpersonal skills
Exceptional communications skills – written and verbal
A highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated and results-oriented individual
Preferred
Experience in high-rise experience with projects in NYC/NJ preferred
