They are seeking an Environmental Program Consultant to provide pollution prevention technical assistance to businesses and institutions, focusing on energy assessments and climate pollution reduction strategies.

Responsibilities

Provide multimedia pollution prevention technical assistance to businesses, industries, and institutions across the state, with a special concentration on energy assessments and climate pollution reduction strategies
Analyze key programmatic metrics and data to inform strategic planning for Division, development of reports, fact sheets, and other technical resources to be utilized by staff and to assist clients
Support opportunities for joint efforts to build internal and external technical training across Division units and sections, including ESI program support, Recycling and Materials Management Section support, and other joint projects as determined by DEACS leadership team
Provide program outreach, development, and coordination in working with stakeholders to advance departmental strategic initiatives through pollution prevention strategies
Make presentations to a variety of internal and external stakeholders on program strategies, initiatives, and other performance metrics
Contribute to division planning and initiatives including report and technical resource development and process improvement efforts

Environmental sciencesPollution preventionTechnical assistanceData analysisPresentation skills

Required

Master's degree in one of the agricultural, biological, engineering, environmental or natural resource sciences or a closely related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution
Three years of experience related to the area of assignment
An equivalent combination of education and experience
