Responsibilities
Ensure all parts are properly checked out and assigned to the appropriate aircraft or work order
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient materials department
Track inventory levels and promptly communicate shortages, discrepancies, or issues to the Materials Manager
Maintain adequate stock of consumables (e.g., paint, lubricants, sealants)
Package and stage materials for the assembly team in accordance with assigned work orders
Procure and manage components, materials, and supplies required for aircraft maintenance, repair, and operations
Receive, inspect, and verify parts for serviceability and documentation compliance
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, both manually and electronically
Package, issue, and file materials and associated documentation per company procedures
Adhere to approved manufacturing processes and safety standards
Support accurate tracking of materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
Cooperate with the Safety Management System (SMS), including participation in corrective and preventive action efforts
Verify that tools and equipment requiring calibration remain current and compliant
Complete tasks and projects with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma with 0–3 years of related experience
Intermediate computer skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks
Self-motivation and the ability to work under general supervision
General knowledge of aviation regulations and standards
Clerical and inventory control experience, including counting, organizing, and ordering parts
A positive, team-oriented attitude
Preferred
Prior experience in the aviation industry
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Hazmat shipping certification
Forklift operator experience
